It comes in candle wicks, dancing.
It comes in cigarettes, glowing cherry red, pulsing on the end and then wistfully trailing downwards.
It comes in bombs, and guns, and politics
It comes in rage, and betrayal, and heartbreak
It even comes from within ourselves.

And we are scared.

Everyday, we try to put it out.

We snuff the candle, watching it suffocate.
We toss the butts, grinding them into pavement, savoring the last kiss of nicotine before it leaves.

Years.    It's... a little hard to believe, really. Everything seems so dragged out, even though I keep expecting you to come back. Every day I expect a call, or you to run in with Erma on your shoulders, Emit running around your feet begging for a turn.

    The kids miss you. You should see how big they've gotten. Emit's always bragging about how tall he is to Erma. Sometimes I think she'll just up and sock him strait in the mouth. I wonder if you miss them. If you even can...

Yes, it's true, I have a pottermore account, and struck with my renewed fandom, I went on a Harry Potter drawing spree, though I am only uploading two photos.

I am in house Hufflepuff~ and until just recently, I was awful at all potions, charms, and spells. BUT NOW I KICK ASS AT POTIONS but have still never won a wizard's duel.
